ABOUT KALKAN

Kalkan is situated in an enviable position on Turkey’s stunning turquoise coat. The town itself has a small beach alongside the harbour, but the magnificent “Patara” beach which boasts 18km of golden sands is only a 15 minute drive away, as is “Kaputas” beach.

The town has a wonderful ambiance both by day and night. It offers a unique range of jewellery and leather shops as well as traditional rugs and turkish goods. Thursday is market day and an experience not to be missed.

Evenings in Kalkan are to savour, with it’s wonderful small shops staying open late into the night.
Kalkan also offers more than 150 truly excellent restaurants offering a wide range of both international and Turkish cuisine appealing to all tastes and budgets. However for a truly spectacular dining experience visit Kalkan’s renowned “Gironda” restaurant. With it’s stunning views over Kalkan from the beautiful roof terrace dining area it’s well worth a visit.
